Service Automation Certification

The Service Automation Framework Alliance (SAFA) and APMG-International, a renowned global accreditation and certification body, have joined forces in an innovative partnership aimed at creating a comprehensive certification scheme focused on Service Automation.

In today's digital age, characterized by online interactions for searching, evaluating, and purchasing products, there is a growing demand for organizations to embrace digital transformation effectively. This evolution underscores the urgent need for organizations to transition to digital operations and cater to the demands of the 'self-service' generation.

Service Automation, a concept centered around delivering services through intelligent technology, has emerged as a rapidly expanding field of interest for numerous organizations. The success stories of companies specializing in automated services, such as Netflix, Spotify, and Uber, highlight how businesses can achieve significant growth and competitive advantages by leveraging Service Automation strategies.

SAFA and APMG have jointly developed a robust training and certification scheme aligned with the Service Automation Framework publication. This scheme equips candidates with practical tools and techniques essential for designing and delivering automated services, ensuring immediate applicability in real-world scenarios.

The collaboration between SAFA and APMG-International grants APMG the global certification rights, enabling the international launch of the Service Automation Certification scheme. Leveraging APMG's extensive network of experienced representatives, Accredited Training Organizations, and wide-reaching marketing capabilities, this partnership is poised to make a substantial impact in empowering organizations worldwide.

A new Service Automation Certification standard

SAFA has awarded APMG the global certification rights. This allows the Service Automation Framework scheme to be launched internationally, and benefits from the infrastructure of APMG’s experienced worldwide representatives, rigorously assessed Accredited Training Organizations and extensive marketing reach. APMG’s CEO Richard Pharro says, “This is an exciting partnership, created at a crucial time when companies need their staff to be able to deliver digital readiness at a fast pace.”

Rapid Growth of Service Automation

Since Service Automation is a new hot topic, there is not a lot of (practical) information available on how organizations can set up Service Automation. The Service Automation Framework® provides a step-by-step approach that illustrates how organizations can digitize their service offering in a methodical way. The corresponding certification scheme was developed for individuals and teams who wish to demonstrate their proficiency in the Service Automation Framework methodology. Additionally, the certification scheme provides a consistent starting point for organizations who want to start digitizing their service offering.

About the Service Automation Framework

The Service Automation Framework (SAF) certification scheme complements the Service Automation Framework Alliance guide, 'Service Automation Framework, for the design and delivery of automated services.' This comprehensive guidance provides profound insights into the theory and methodologies of Service Automation, empowering organizations to automate services, embrace digitalization, and offer self-service applications to their customers effectively.
